SCUBA Rescue DiverThe best diver training we hope you'll never use. Scuba diving is exciting but like all adventure sports has inherent risks that may result in injury and even fatality. Being knowledgeable in how potentially dangerous situations can transpire may allow you to prevent such occurrences from happening, or after onset, to effectively deal with them, reducing the possibility of serious injury. The life of a NAUI Divemaster is both exciting and professionally rewarding. As a NAUI Divemaster you may find yourself guiding divers through the coral reefs of a South Pacific atoll one week and organizing a boat dive for your local NAUI Scuba Center the next. With your exceptional leadership skills and desire to oversee the activities and diving enjoyment of others, you'll find volunteer and employment opportunities ith diving resorts, cruise ships, dive stores, clubs and universities around the world. You'll also be valuable during diver training, fulfilling the role of course assistant.

Assistant Instructor
Assistant Instructors are some of the best teaching aids available to NAUI Instructors. While you are learning the duties and responsibilities of an Assistant Instructor, you'll be providing valuable support to the student learning process. You'll demonstrate skills, conduct small group remedial sessions, provide additional supervision, act as a safety diver, and enhance the learning process for the students. And since all NAUI members must demonstrate good watermanship and diving skills as part of their training and evaluation, you'll be challenged to demonstrate the same skills required of a NAUI instructor.
